- Zur Überwachung einer medikamentösen Therapie besonders geeignet sind die Typ I-Kollagen Telopeptide (NTx bzw. CTx) im Urin.
- NTx bzw. CTx gelten auch als prospektive Marker für die Endoprothesenlockerung.
